ServerDog is a Linux status and SSH terminal tool that offers a wide range of functionalities for monitoring server performance and managing SSH connections. With ServerDog, users can easily view server load, CPU usage, memory usage, IO rate, network rate, and processes. One of the notable advantages of ServerDog is that it doesn't require any server-side dependencies as long as the server supports SSH.

Features

• Server list quick view: Provides an overview of all servers, displaying load, memory usage, swap usage, disk usage, IO rate, and network rate.
• Overall View: Presents detailed information about the server, including its name, processor name and count, process status and report, load chart, CPU usage and core usage chart, disk free and used chart, TCP report, IO TPS (transactions per second) and read/write rate chart, and network rate chart.
• Load View: Offers live charts for load, memory usage, overall CPU usage, and CPU core usage. It also displays overall CPU usage percentages for user time (us), system time (sy), nice time (ni), idle time (id), waiting time (wa), hardware interrupts (hi), software interrupts (si), and stolen time (st).
• IO View: Provides IO TPS and read/write rate charts for monitoring input/output operations.
• Network View: Displays network interface transmit/receive rate charts and TCP status.
• Process View: Shows a list of processes with associated CPU and memory usage.
• Ping status in server list: Includes the capability to ping servers in the server list, showing response time in milliseconds (ms) and time-to-live (ttl).
• SSH Terminal: Features a full-featured mobile terminal where users can create sessions and run commands. The terminal also supports an interactive console, copy-pasting of terminal output, and execution of commands from the clipboard.
• SSH Bastion and Proxy: Allows users to securely connect to their servers and run shell commands.
• SSH Editor: Enables users to edit files using terminal editors, complete with a full-featured keyboard designed for mobile phones.
• Snippets: Lets users add snippet shortcuts for quick reuse and execute them on multiple servers.
• SFTP File Explorer: Provides an intuitive interface for browsing folders and files, with the ability to download, upload, and edit files.

How status works

The app loads process data and generates reports and charts based on the retrieved information. It doesn't require root account access; a regular user account is sufficient. It's important to note that the app does not write to or modify files on the server.

Data security

All configuration and data are only stored locally on the user's iPhone or iPad. In addition, users have the option to sync their data to iCloud by tapping the iCloud backup button.

Compatibility

The app has been extensively tested on Ubuntu, CentOS, Alpine, Gentoo stage3, openSUSE, and Debian. It is expected to support all major Linux distributions.

The Pro lifetime option is available for $9.99, while the Pro Subscription is available for $0.99 per month (prices may vary depending on the region).

Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account upon purchase confirmation. The subscription will renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Please note that manual cancellation of an ongoing subscription before its termination date is not allowed. Users can manage their subscriptions, including disabling auto-renewal, in the Account Settings after purchase.
